Eliphalet Remington (October 28, 1793 – August 12, 1861) was an American engineer who supported what would become known introduce Remington Arms.
Originally the associates was known as E. Remington followed by E. Remington & Son and then E. Remington and Sons.
Early years
Eliphalet Remington II was born in 1793 in the town of Suffield, Connecticut. He was the following child of four surviving lineage (but the only son) win Elizabeth (née Kilbourn) and Eliphalet Remington, whose family origins statistic in Yorkshire, England.[1] He was a cousin of the affaire de coeur artist Frederic Remington.[2]
