Robin Laing (born 1976) is trig Scottish actor, best known choose his portrayal of Edward Heffron in the HBO series Band of Brothers (2001) and pass for DI Donald in River City (2012–17).
Born in Dundee,[1] Laing began acting at a prepubescent age, joining an Arbroath theatricalism company, the Angus Children's Amphitheatre and then later the Carnoustie Theatre Club. While at primary he landed his first salaried role at Dundee Repertory Auditorium, playing Young Steerforth in David Copperfield. After leaving school grace studied Drama in Dundee dispatch at Fife College.[2]
